The 2024 ICC T20 World Cup is finally here, and it’s a historic moment as the United States and the West Indies are co-hosting the event. This edition presents a new challenge for all teams, especially the US, which is hosting the tournament for the first time. The lack of bilateral series played in the US means that teams will face unfamiliar conditions, making it a unique experience for everyone involved.

The 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is going to be an exciting affair and like any other ICC T20 World Cup, 9 cricket grounds will be hosting the competitors across the West Indies and the United States. The games will be played in two regions, with 20 teams and over 55 matches in total, thus containing a number of matches in both areas.
In the United States, three cities will host matches: First, the Lauderhill operation of Western Union, together with those in Dallas and New York. Lauderhill is slated to feature four games, Dallas 6, and New York will be privileged to host 8 featuring the much-awaited India vs Pakistan match.
The modular mobile stadium, constructed in Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, will see its first game on June 3 and will increase the seating capacity to maximum 34,000 at the end of the tournament to nearly people or less.
In the West Indies, 6 cities will host matches. The preceding CARICOM countries include Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago. The stadium in Antigua and Barbuda, known as SR Vivian Richards Stadium, will be hosting 8 games. In comparison, the Kensington Oval in Barbados will host 9 games, including the ICC T20 World Cup final.
6 matches, including the semi-finals, have been scheduled at the Guyana National Stadium in Guyana, while six games consist at Darren Sammy Cricket Ground in Saint Lucia. The Arnos Vale Ground in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will host 5 total matches. In comparison, Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago will host 5 total matches, one of which will be a semi-final match.
The 2 semi-finals match will be played in Trinidad, and the two remaining teams will again play the final match in Guyana. As any pain, the games will be held in many landmark areas across the United States and the Caribbean, and venues that have been newly constructed.

Guyana National Stadium, Guyana
Situated on the east coast of Demerara River and roughly of few kilometers below Georgetown, Guyana, the Providence Stadium was constructed in the year 2006 in preparation for the Cricket World Cup that was held in the year 2007.
